Look for in leaves- MANGANESE DEFICIENCY
- Leaves with a yellow mottle (not near-white as from zinc deficiency)
- The mottle bounded by fine green veins
- A dark-green border around the main veins, but thinner than magnesium and thicker than iron deficiencies
- A normal sinus angle where the leaf joins the petiole (not open from zinc deficiency
- Tissue analyses are often needed to correctly identify nutritional disorders

- Most common on older leaves after flowering and in vines on sandy soils high in lime
