Look for in leaves- MAGNESIUM DEFICIENCY
- Leaves with bright yellow wedge-shaped areas (red in red varieties) extending inwards between the main veins
- Broad areas of green around the main veins
- Yellow leaf margins that may turn brown
- Dead patches that may develop in the yellow (or red) areas and at the leaf margins when severe
- Tissue analyses are often needed to correctly identify nutritional disorders
- MAGNESIUM DEFICIENCY
- Symptoms are uncommon and vary with variety, soil type and the time of year.
- Symptoms are first seen on older leaves especially after berry softening and are more evident on some rootstocks.
